In a review of J.D. Abel's current exhibit in the Central Library's second floor corridor gallery, Robert Pincus of the San Diego Union-Tribune said the artist shows considerable power. VISIT HERE to read that article.
The exhibit The Last Word: 56 American Epitaphs, features 40 original pen and ink drawings, primarily portraits. The exhibit shows original drawings created by Abel over the past decade and recently published in The Last Word: 56 American Epitaphs. All of the works in the exhibit are for sale and the proceeds will be divided between the Library's Visual Arts Program and the San Diego Art Institute.
