In partnership with KPBS, the Library brings San Diego together with the One Book, One San Diego Program. Voting is now going on to select the 2010 One Book title from the possible selections:
- Outcasts United by by Warren St. John
- Dreamers of the Day by Mary Doria Russell
- Song Yet Sung by James McBride

Entering its fourth year, the 2009 program features author events, book discussions at libraries and other in-library events to explore the themes discussed in the featured book.
