State Librarian extends new Central deadline

Interim State Librarian Stacey Aldrich granted the City's request for an extension on the State's $20 million grant to build a new Central Library. VISIT HERE for a San Diego Union-Tribune article on the extension.
Aldrich stipulated that the City must put the library out to bid by Nov. 15 and begin construction by August 2010.
