Around The World With One Book, One San Diego 2012
January 26, 2012
The community-wide One Book, One San Diego literacy program will kick off with a free event featuring the 2012 authors on February 29, 2012 at 7 p.m. Space is limited, click here to RSVP.
Now in its sixth year, One Book, One San Diego brings all of San Diego together to read and discuss the same book. A partnership between the San Diego Public Library and KPBS, the program features author events, book discussions at libraries and other events to explore the themes discussed in the featured book.
The 2012 One Book program will feature three books, one at a time: "Sky of Red Poppies" by Zohreh Ghahremani from January to March. "Moloka’i" by Alan Brennert in April and May, and "Into the Beautiful North" by Luis Alberto Urrea in June and July.
